In College a friend started a Construction and Remodeling business, and I was a partner when I could. We started with interior renovations, then additions and eventually a custom-built home. After college, he became a builder, and I stumbled into a career in Technology. In the time since, I have always been an avid DIYer for myself, friends, family and for-hire. I really enjoy the sense of accomplishment from finishing a project and seeing a physical result of my effort. I pay attention to details, quality and clean up when finished. I have done Additions, Kitchens, Baths, Basements, Decks, Patios, Tile work, lighting and minor plumbing. Most of all, a lifetime of doing household repairs and maintenance.

In 1989, after building the house, I used the money to move to Oregon without a job because the skiing and outdooring were awesome! I answered a "Want Ad" for sales at a local computer store and I was good at it! I parlayed that to an eventual 18-year career with Microsoft in the Enterprise Sales Organization. There, I honed my skills in sales, management, negotiation, contracts and business consulting. In 2014, I retired and found it boring. I started a small business and grew to 2 locations and 15 people. COVID was a slog, so I renegotiated my lease and sold the operations in 2020. The acquiring company was so pleased with the lease, they hired me to renegotiate their 11 other leases, and then other diversified consulting engagements followed, Word of mouth spread and now I have 5 reference clients.

Throughout my life I've been hooked on Sports and Recreation. As the youngest of five, I grew up with an abundance of tutelage in all things competitive. Throughout my life I've been hooked on Sports and Recreation. As the youngest of five, I grew up with an abundance of tutelage in all things competitive. From traditional sports to leisure sports, to board games. There was nothing we couldn't make competitive and fun! It became the family livelihood! A brother became an executive in Sports Marketing and Management, A Sister owned a Sports and Event management firm. For me, I was a Div 1 college athlete, I played all organized sports in my youth and every intramural sport in college. As a father, I coached and volunteered in youth sports for my three (grown) children for over 20 years. As I embark on coaching, organizing and planning adult sports and recreational activities, I will bring the fun, excitement and passion from a lifetime of enjoyment!

To give the veggies some reprieve from the harsh August sun, I bult a Pergola overhead and dug down 18" below grade for the raised beds, providing a well drained foundation and 3 feet of rich soil for the plants. The veggies have thrived
